Arrival description for the holiday flat adiva al charco,
Calle Perdomo, Puerto de la Cruz with car or bus

Via bus
There is a public bus service on Tenerife named TITSA. The timetables for the bus lines are best found on Google Maps and not - as
you might assume - in a TITSA app! The adiva al charco holiday flats are located just 700
metres from an intercambiador (terminus or interchange station) for the TITSA buses in Puerto de la Cruz.
Buses on lines 30, 100, 102, 103 and 104 stop there.
From the Tenerife South Airport (Sofia Reina) you can reach the Santa Cruz Intercambiador on bus lines
711 or 10. From there you can change to lines 102 or 103, depending on the day and time of the week. You
can expect a journey time of around 1 hour and 40 minutes to more than two hours.
Otherwise, we recommend travelling by car (Explanada del muelle or Plaza Europa car park) or by
taxi (prices up to € 150 according to the latest information we have).
Via car/car rental
There are two ways to get to the holiday flat by car:
- Via Martiánez: From the TF-5 motorway (Autopista), take exit 32 (Puerto Cruz, Martiánez,
El Rincón) in the direction of Puerto de la Cruz, continue straight on along the carretera este (TF-31)
until you drive through the tunnel and arrive virtually at the sea (Muro Martiánez). You then have no
choice but to turn left into Av. Aguilar y Quesada, which you then drive straight on. It then becomes
Calle de Valois, where you turn right into Calle de Zamora (in front of the car park). You will now enter
an area where pedestrian traffic is heavier than car traffic. Continue at walking pace along Calle de
Santo Domingo, over heavy cobblestones, and you will arrive directly at Plaza del Charco, which you will
see on your left. Directly behind this building, with the Supercor supermarket, you will find Calle Perdomo
on the right, where your holiday flat is located on the opposite side (yellow building), house number 6,
staircase 3. That's why we're looking for an alternative...
- Via Playa Jardín: The second option goes 'round the back' and explains how to get
to the car park on the 'Explanada del muelle'. To do this, also take the TF-5 motorway, again
from exit 32, via the carretera este (TF-31), but then take the turn-off to the right onto the TF-312
in the direction of Puerto de la Cruz. Continue on this road - the Jardín Botanico is on the right -
past the Av. Marqués de Villaneuva del Prado (TF-312). Follow this road, passing flat blocks and hotels,
through bends until you pass under two bridges and then turn right at the traffic lights onto Av.
Blas Pérez González. After an S-line, the road straightens out and takes you downhill towards the sea,
which you will then see. This area is called Playa Jardín. At the lower end of this road you can only
turn left or right. Turn right (Calle Luis Lavaggi), drive past the new water sports stadium (Centro
de Deportes Acuaticos de Tenerife), but stay in the left-hand lane. Then you can turn left at the traffic
lights into Calle Mequínez/'Explanada del muelle', an unpaved harbour area/pier. There are not always easy
parking spaces here either, but you can usually find something in the end. Drive as far forward as possible
and park your car there.
Then walk down to the buildings (there is a small staircase), then you will come to the 'peatonal
al muelle' (pedestrian walkway to the quay). Turn left. Walk forwards until you reach a larger
square; you will then be in 'Plazoleta Àngel Acosta Martín'. From there, walk 90° to the right and you
will come to Calle Perdomo, your destination, which is open to pedestrians. From here you will find the
entrance to the holiday flat on the right-hand side.
